Donate to Urologic Cancer Research, Patient Care and Education
Urologic cancers are cancers of the kidney, bladder, urethra, prostate and testicles. More than 250,000 people in the United States will be diagnosed with one form of urologic cancer in 2019. Prostate cancer is the leading cancer diagnosed in men. By making a donation to Northwestern Memorial Foundation, you will help the dedicated urologists and oncologists at Northwestern Medicine to further advance research and clinical trials aimed at developing new prevention, diagnostic and treatment methods for urologic cancers.
In order to develop a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan for every patient diagnosed with a form of urologic cancer, Northwestern Medicine’s urologists and oncologists work closely with clinical psychologists, oncology educators, nutritionists, nurse navigators and social workers. Together, the members of these multidisciplinary care teams provide treatment and supportive services, while also helping patients to manage treatment-related side effects and addressing patients’ questions and concerns regarding their health, prognosis and overall well-being.
