Northwestern Memorial Foundation, the fundraising arm of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, raises funds that support the patient-centered mission and strategic goals of Northwestern Medicine. Through our work, we help Northwestern Medicine in its mission to provide the highest-quality health care in our communities, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
Northwestern Medicine is a growing, nationally recognized health system that provides world-class care in communities throughout Chicago and the north, northwest and west suburbs. Our health system is anchored by including the No. 1 hospital in Illinois — Northwestern Memorial Hospital — as ranked by U.S. News and World Report America’s Best Hospitals, 2018-2019. We help patients not only from the Chicagoland area, but also from around the world.
The Northwestern Medicine health system encompasses more than 100 locations across and eight counties in Northern Illinois, and is strengthened by the contributions of more than 4,500 physicians and approximately 30,000 employees who work together to serve 10 hospitals and more than 600,000 patients annually. Each Northwestern Medicine hospital has a unique story, but our entire health system shares the same patient-centered mission.
